Sassy Crafty and Cranium Crunching

Lately I have been doing a lot of this

As I am studying for a certain Financial test that is supposed to prove that I am 100% genius and completely responsible and reliable.

Sounds pretty grown up huh?

Don't let it fool you though, my inner child comes out just to balance things a bit....and my inner child chooses to drink hot chocolate (with a large dollop of cool whip) as opposed to coffee.

This is one of the BEST treats (and only 1 ww point)!

I found some fat free, no sugar added kind and it is surprisingly delicious and doesn't taste watered down in the least.

After a few hours of cramming knowledge into my ever-growing cranium, I decided I needed a little sassy crafty time. 

(Enter texture scissors and glue stick!)

Several friends and family members have some bday excitment coming up and instead of shelling out $4 per card, I made my own

Please excuse the picture quality as my camera was dead (which is also crappy) and had to use my iPhone.

I have begun collecting stamps which is a lot of fun but can be dangerous as the 5 year old in me wants to stamp EVERYTHING in my apartment. Thankfully, I realized I was being a little aggressive with the inkpad and stopped myself before any real damage.

Bailey is a friend and Tri Delta sister from Alabama that has a super cute blog with tons of loyal readers that follow her daily. Ahem, that means if you are reading this and you are not a follower I strongly suggest you change that status.

I am supposed to share 7 things about myself and then send this award to 15 other cutie-macs.

Most of my posts are simply pictures of beautiful spaces so I am totally going to take this opportunity to help you get to know me a bit better.

Here goes nothing....

1. I am completely and utterly obsessed with cheese

I could eat it on a cracker, by the block, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack...My favorites lately are a nice creamy brie or stinky blue. Give me a loaf of bread and a slab of cheese and I will be your best friend :) Mean it.

2. I am one of 4 kids ranging in age from 34-22. We are all spread out in different cities (Memphis, Charlotte, Houston, and soon, Fayetteville, AR). We all look insanely alike and have a innate ability to fight like cats and dogs while still loving each other like crazy. We give a whole new meaning to dis-functional

3. One of my favorite movies of all times is Fletch

Chevy Chase cracks my a$$ up and I could quote that movie all day long every day and make myself giggle. If you are unfamiliar then I suggest you get familiar and rent it.

4. I love everything that has to do with babies. Their baby smell, tiny socks, cuddly blankets, weird food, dimply smiles, rubber band legs and big bellies, giggles...One day I will have a whole army of babies that have chubby legs and the smoothest skin.

5. Jennifer Hudson and I are members of weight watchers. I joined 6 months ago and am still going strong (minus the 2 slices of cake last night at Puppy's birthday party). I love the accountability that weighing in each week forces me to have and my leader Rochelle is hysterical. I have officially lost 13.6 pounds and gone from a 10 to a 6. I ain't scared to tell ya the truth! J.Hud is beating me going from like a 16 to a 4 but we are still friends.

6. I can talk to a wall for hours but am completely terrified when it comes to public speaking. I can introduce myself to a stranger but will sweat through my shirt at the thought of standing in front of a group of people. And wouldn't you know that in 3 weeks I will have to do just that, stand in front of a group of over 100 people at my sister's rehearsal dinner and deliver a speech/toast that I have yet to write from utter anxiety of what is to come.

7. And the last random "get to know me" fact.....

I am a sucker for travel. The past 12 months I have been to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans, Dallas, Austin, Memphis, Charlotte, Washington D.C., San Diego, Mobile, Pensacola, Baton Rouge, and Tuscaloosa. I was born to travel and love being in different cities, especially when they include people that I love.

So What Wednesday

When visiting with my new virtual friends at Our Transatlantic Love,

I was turned onto Shannon's Blog and her little "So What" game she plays on Wednesdays.

I decided to play along, seeing that this Hump Day has been particularly daunting.

• So what if I had a large slice of chocolate cake three days in a row this week and just googled what's on the menu at Dessert Gallery
• So what if some days I would rather hibernate than face reality
• So what if the people I work with make me want to scream profane words as loud as I can while stomping my feet like a little kid
• So what if my belly dun-lapped over my pants today
• So what if I H.A.T.E cold weather
• So what if I still like Taco Bell even though their ground beef is like less than 40% real meat
• So what if sometimes I put in Brokedown Palace just for an exhausting cry
• So what that I would rather spend $$$$ on wallpaper than clothes
• So what that I wear my jeans ___ times before I wash them
• So what that I am terrible at flossing
• So what if I'm 24 and have read the Twilight Saga twice and still expect Edward to walk into my office
• So what if I like really, really, really big and voluptuous hair
• So what if I lick the Polynesian sauce container from Chick-fil-a
• So what if my southern twang comes out a little more with each sip/glass of wine

It's exhilarating

No Strings Attached

Went to see this last week with some g-friends.

After being largely disappointed with How Do You Know, I went into this one with zero expectations.

Turns out, I was pleasantly entertained.

Cute, funny, pretty people to stare at for almost two hours and a decent soundtrack.

I didn't think they had the best "lip locking" chemistry but ya know, it worked.

Kind of made me want to starve for a year to be half as tiny as Nat Port....or not.

 I enjoyed my peanut m&ms (grande size) and thought, she probably doesn't eat this.

Then there was a scene involving donut holes right after I had finished my last chocolate morsel.

Just so you know, I didn't hit up Shipley's or Krispy Kreme.

Surprise! There is some willpower in me after all
